I hope you all had a lovely evening, mine was spent with a few good friends, lots of bubbly and lots of dancing, perfect :)
I thought I would share with you my new years resolutions for 2012, with 1a being, keep all resolutions!! There are six of them, but some are quite easy and I have a whole year to accomplish them. I hope you enjoy and i wish you the best for the new year.
1. Work Hard. Every time I 'cba' with college work or revision, I'm going to remind myself how much I want to go to uni (to do medicine), because at the end of the day, its what I want more than anything in the world, its my (potential) future life and parties/extra shifts at work etc can wait.
2. Go to exercise classes. I find the gym can be so exasperating, watching the time go past, running in the spot for half an hour. Its boring. So I'm going to try something new with my friends, keep fit, have fun and get motivated!
3. Budget. I am quite fortunate to have a well paid part time job, which subsequently means I buy clothes a bit too frivolously. So I am going to budget my clothing/food/beauty each month and save more.
4. Learn Something New each day. A word, something about the world, about a friend. Just a little something to help us grow and prosper as people.
5. Give something up each week. Chocolate, chips, Look magazine. A little test of my willpower and possibly to be a little healthier.
6. No Regrets. As of recent I have adopted the mantra of 'you only have one life'. This is a bit philosophical, but life is so short and over 2011 I have regretted not doing quite a few things and that is not happening this year.
