Tunage

So I thought I'd do a bit of a different post this time.

As I mentioned previously I went to Reading Festival last weekend. Firstly, it was amazing. Maybe one of the best weekends of my life. I think it was a mix of all my friends, great music and quite a bit of alcohol :L We're all going off to uni in the next few weeks and it was such a lovely send off I'm actually getting a bit tearful writing this. There was a silent disco where you wear headphones to listen to the music, it was such a laugh. Festival food was delicious and greasy, toilet facilities left a lot to be desired and the weather held out beautifully- I actually got burnt. I would recommend Leeds/Reading to ALL!

Anyway slightly off topic, I thought I'd tell you about a few of my favourite bands I saw at Reading, sort of like a little review and put in a few piccys for yas. Enjoy :)

Deaf Havana
No pictures unfortunately, but this band played mainstage and they were awesome. An awesome rock/pop mix. Please check out Littles White Lies. Its so catchy!

Hadouken!
Never had heard of this band, but some friends dragged us along to the NME/BBC3 tent. Mix of dance and rock. I was moshing like a monster! It was so much fun...check out Turn the Lights Out

You Me At Six
Such a good set, amazing rock band from Surrey. Check out Stay With Me, Underdog, Kiss and Tell, No-one Does it Better, Crash, Finders Keepers. Oh I love them so much!!

Bombay Bicycle Club
Suprisingly, this set was the most violent, the songs are so calm and chilled but we got crushed by the crowd, people were moshing everywhere. They were good but their cool psychedelic stuff would've been better inside rather than on the mainstage. Listen to Shuffle, How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep and Always Like This.

Paramore
Hayley Williams? Nuff said. They were incred. Listen to all their songs, now.

Foster The People
One of my favourite sets of the weekend. They were amazing, the lead singer put on such a show and there was confetti at the end! Go and check out the set here. Skip to the end to watch Pumped Up Kicks, so good!

Azaelia Banks
You can imagine how crazy the crowd went for 212?

Florence and the Machine
Unfortunately me and my friend had to leave the set a bit early as we had got soaked in the torrential rain (I'm not kidding, I basically showered in the rain :L) But what I saw was awesome. She was just really lovely and put up with the crap weather.

Green Day
One word. Wow. Secret gig at half ten on saturday morning? We ran to the NME tent. They put on an amazing show for an hour and a half. Billie-Joe Armstrong is hilarious, he had a toilet paper gun :L Please please watch their set online. Check out Murder City, Basket Case and Know Your Enemy.

Sorry for terrible quality, had a disposable camera.

All Time Low
My favourite band. Ever. I have shamful amounts of love for Alex Gaskarth. They did not disappoint. Check out Lost in Stereo, Dear Maria and Stella.

On my friends shoulders...so fun.

The Black Keys
Cool catchy old school kinda rock. Check out Gold On the Ceiling and Howling For You.

Two Door Cinema Club
One of the best sets, they are amazing and I love them! New album came out today I believe, watch their set online and listen to all their songs! I absol love Something Good Will Work :)
