Five Facts

Okay so this post isn't going to be anything showy or fancy. It was a quirky little idea I had at about 3am. Its five little weird facts about myself, if you fancied knowing them. If not I do apologise and assure you that my next post will be much less narcissistic.

1. My favourite colour is green. Bright bright green. Love it :)

2. I am a Mac, not a PC- I can't use the damn things :S

3. Marmite, it's definitely a hate. Nutella on toast yes please.

4. I'm a leftie.

5. My favourite place in the world is Canada, I just love it there.

I hope you do something similar, let me know so I can find out five little fun facts about you :) (Alliteration or what?)

Fashion Inspo

So I don't know about you, but I'm super duper confused by this season's fashion at the moment, everywhere you look there's flares, 60's blouses, maxi skirts etc etc. Now as much as I love fashion and would love to have the means to purchase said trending items, but they are just not as versatile as clothes in a students wardrobe need to be. So sorry Topshop...I will not be purchasing a green maxi skirt from you, but I'd very much like some nice cardigans and maybe a dress :S

Okay. Moan/ramble over, I'm gonna show you a bit of inspiration from my new latest obsession Lookbook which is amazing for showcasing outfit choices from some wonderfully fashion-forward people. I hope everyone has had a good week, and that you enjoy the weekend :)

Beautiful rust coloured dress perfecto for autumn :)

Love the deep purple mixed with lace and Litas!

Cute collared top, and a fabulous thick fringe :)

Leopard print booties. Need I say more?
Simple yet effective. Me want that Jumper!!

Back to School Ramble

Afternoon all, not really sure what this post will be about, I'm just going to let the words come out :L

So I started back at college today and it was manic. My college consists of about 3500 students so the corridors are always completely full and its a mad scramble for the bus. My timetable is a bit of all-right, three afternoons I get to go home early *happy dance*.
For those of you know don't know (or don't really care) I'm in Sixth Form in my final year of A Levels now -wow that sounds grownup- currently studying Maths, Chemistry, French and Biology, which are all bloody hard work, but I'm hoping it all pays off :) I've always been a bit of a science geek and well... j'aime le francais :)

Okay enough about me rabbiting on about myself, I'm sure if your reading this you are thoroughly bored by now...so I'll change the subject.

So I've been on a search for 'the perfect pair of jeans' and I thought I found them last year when I was in a GAP outlet and I laid my eyes on some beautiful Navy Blue Skinnies. And I was after a pair of black skinnies so I returned to GAP hoping to buy the same type of jean, in black. The type I have are called the Premium Skinny and I believe a type that can only be found in outlets as I couldn't find them on GAP's website so I ordered a pair of the famous 1969 Skinnies. Now looking in the label of my beloved skinnes I was shocked that they were  a size six okay normally an 8/10 but whatever so i just thought GAP maybe just came up large, so I order a 25in pair of jeans.

So they arrive and to my horror I am unable to get said jeans over my knees!! So I returned and ordered a pair a few sizes larger, and I am still unable to do up the button. My only thoughts are the outlet sizes are completely different. So  a word of warning with GAP jeans, don't buy before you try So I shamefully sent back the jeans and thought it was best to look for dream jeans elsewhere. So I'm still on my search...any great places for black skinny jean anyone??

Right thats enough from me...I hope you all had a good start to the week :)

Haaaaaaull'in

Happy September everyone...holy moly I can't believe the "summer" went so quickly (yes summer in inverted commas, not one day of sunshine since I got back from Italy :L)
And here we are and the back2sch season has begun...not gonna lie this week has been a mad rush of clothes/stationary/homework/coursework that I shouldn't have left until the last minute bad hannah :L

Ok so I did a little bit of shopping this weekend...mainly hit up good ol' Primarni. What can I say- I love a bargin :L So here's some little bitsandbobs I purchased.

Too...many...clothes :S

Jumpers
Coz lets face it. England is bloody cold in the winter and come November when my toes start to fall off in the mornings at the bus stop, I will not be able to find some jumpers for love nor money. So I saw some I like, and i bought.

Nice little Cable Knit in Beige (the 'itwillgowithanything' lightbulb went off in my head :L)

Another in the gorgeous Wine/Mulberry colour that is perfect for autumn and quite frankly devine. And its actually got two different shades and patterns so doesn't look too Primark-y.

Basic jumper in 'cranberry' another beautiful shade for A/W. And it was a fiver- nuff said.

I bought a pair of Chinos, as I wanted some trousers that weren't jeans and I love the colour :)

This baggy tee with Polka Dots screamed cute to me. <3

A cream drapey blouse that I thought was really beautiful. I love blouses but no offence everyone has one, so I was looking for something a bit different (so then why did you go to Primark hannah :L ?!!? ) But this was unusual and i purchased :)

Avec the Chinos :)

Aaaand finally a little dress from H&M in a taupey colour (another...it'll go with anything :L you know me...practical and loving my basics :) ) Stuff will go under it over it round it accessorise it scarf it the possibilities are endless!!

So that's all for the time being...hope everyone is well and good :)

Update :)

Hello All :)
So it is quite late and after a lovely bubbly bath I'm in no state for any photos, however I really wanted to do a blog post so could think of nothing better than an indulgent 'what i've been up to' kinda shizzannng :L

* Went to Wagamamas with my friend, it was a bit ladies who lunch :L. We wanted to see Friends with benefits but didn't realise it didn't come till Sept! But Wagas was yummmmooo. Def recommend the Yasai Katsu Curry, one word delish.

*Did bits and bobs of shopping, the boring yet obligatory back2sch. stationary shop :LAnd by the way, Tiger is the best for bargins! In the clothing department I'm not too sure what to buy. I long for summer stuff, but in reality i should be looking for a winter coat :L But I can't bring myself to buy winter clothes in August.

*Been Gyming, I've spoken about how I feel about exercise before (bleugh). But at the moment its kinda addictive and I'm feeling really good and really healthy :)

*Listening to Chris Brown & Beiber song, which I LOVE! Even though i don't really like either of them...but its really good. And the new Demi Lovato song, which if you have not heard go and listen now. Serious goosebump-ily good.

*Watching the Real Housewives of Orange County. shoot i didn't just say that did i :L :S Yes daytime ITV2 is my guilty pleasure, its one of those 'so bad its good' tv shows :L

So I hope I haven't bored you to tears and i hope you're all having fantabby weeks too!

Face Routine.

So I'd thought I would share with you all what I use on my face to clean/cleanse/tone/moisturise...all the things I do :L
Basically I have normal-ish skin. Bit oily in places, bit dry in places, occasionally sometimes massive breakouts. I wash my face every morning and evening with a cleanser/wash...

The clean&clear has salicylic acid in it, which is a really good spot fighter and it feels really zingy when you apply it! The Sanctuary wash is good in the morning to freshen you up etc and the Cleanse and Polish is so luxurious, I use it to take off my makeup at night. It is amazing.

I then apply Benzoyl Peroxide to stop/get rid of any zits.

This can be really drying to I always use a moisturiser.

The Clean&Clear is good for brightening the face, the Simple when my face is really dry and irritated, Neutrogena when I've broken out or am feeling oily, and the other neutrogena as an everyday.

I also use masks and scrubs a few times a week, when my skin is in real need of a clean.

Hope this was helpful, and please let me know of any holy grail skincare you use.
