Festival Fashion

I'm off to Reading Festival on thursday, and I thought I would share with you an outfit I was planning on wearing whilst there.

It can be hard to look nice at a festival; only having a little rucksack, not feeling your best due to lack of proper showers and of course the unpredictable weather!

It is forecast to be sunshine and showers with temperatures of around 20c, so I thought a shorts and jumper combo is appropriate. Also I didn't particularly want to take my best clothes to a muddy rock festival :L

Some essentials I would say you need are:
- Wellies and Pacamac
-Lots of wetwipes, hand sanitizer and dry shampoo
-Food and Alcohol (for those over 18 :L)
-Lots of dry socks and clean pants
-Leggings and Hoodies/Jumpers for when it gets cold at night
-Pair of shorts and a few baggy festival tops

Jumper, Shorts, Sunnies - Primark. Wellies - Ebay

If any of you are off to Leeds/Reading or any festival enjoy and stay safe!

Long Time...

No see eh?

Urm yeah, I'm sorry. I really cracked down and studied hard for my A levels, and it paid off, as I got my grades and I'm off to medical school in September to (hopefully) become a doctor.

It still hasn't quite sunk in, I've wanted this and dreamed about it since I was eight years old, and to know I've achieved it... is amazing.

So I just wanted to update you all with a few things that have been happening in my life. I finished college, by far the best two years of my life so far. I've met incredible people, had so much fun, learnt so much and have really grown up. I'm going to miss it so much.

We had our Leaver's ball, which was insane. We had Ricky and Melvin from Kiss FM and some guys from Ministry of Sound. Insert picture from night
I'm in the pink :)

Then I went on holiday to Magaluf with the above girlies, which I'm sure you can imagine was also insane.

After we got back, me and a few friends decided to have a little mini break to the seaside, the weather was rubbish (but what can you expect) but we went to a little farm, had cream teas and sightsee-d. It was a lively little getaway.

Got totally into the Olympic hype, and can safely say 'I was there'. And it was the most amazing atmosphere and made you feel so good. It sounds a wee bit silly, but it was a moment where I thought, wow humankind is amazing. The sportsmanship, the patriotism and the niceness of everyone there, seriously a once in a lifetime event.

Soaked up any moment of sunshine, here's us on the local pond chillbillin' in the sun :)

Loving life being 18 and reppin' the clurrrbs

Nice to go out with all different sorts of people, work lot, college friends, old friends

Whippin' out the red lipstick for results night. A really special night, celebrating years of hard work with my nearest and dearest.

Hope you're not too bored, and enjoyed my little life update.

Here's to many more :)
